Our Derby horse, who is between 35 and 40, and who ruptured his tendon is now rehabed enough to be turned out with his friends. Tonight he was so full of energy when the sun was setting and the air was cooling. His tail was up, he actually was passaging around, trotting but pushing his whole body into the air with each stride. It was a joy to see. The vicarious pleasure we feel seeing our treasured horses play and demonstrate life and loft.
